FIBA 3x3 Women's Series MVP Touré becomes Wilson ambassador

MONTPELLIER (France) - Just two years after 3x3 icon Dusan Bulut, Wilson Sporting Goods (the FIBA 3x3 Official Ball and Apparel Partner) announced France women's 3x3 star Migna Touré joined their Advisory Staff. The 26-year-old will provide insights and test future Wilson basketball products as well as work with the brand on efforts to support community initiatives off the court.

Touré, the No. 2 ranked female FIBA 3x3 player in the world, hopes to represent France in the Summer Olympics, where 3x3 will make its Olympic debut. Named the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series 2019 MVP, she also plays for Basket Lattes Montpellier Association of the Ligue Féminine de Basketball, winners of the 2021 French Women’s Cup.

As a member of the French national team, Touré won the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series in 2019. She is also a two-time FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup winner and took home bronze at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2019, not to mention several medals for France in basketball in youth categories.

Off the court, Touré will introduce her own youth basketball training academy in France this summer to provide access to 3x3 basketball and life skills off the court, like education, nutrition and more.

"Migna’s passion for the game and positivity towards life make her an outstanding addition to Wilson’s growing group of basketball advisors," said Kevin Murphy, General Manager, Wilson Team Sports. "We are excited to grow our global basketball community by extending our Advisory Staff to include one of the top women’s FIBA 3x3 players in the world."

Touré joins Wilson’s Advisory Staff program, comprised of more than 10,000 professional athletes, coaches, teaching pros and advisors across a wide variety of sports around the world.

"I love the sport of basketball and am so eager to share my knowledge of 3x3 with a partner like Wilson," said Touré. "I think together we can truly make an impact of the lives of youth through the sport and education."
